Psychotherapy Services

Psychotherapy can help eliminate or control mental health symptoms to help you function more effectively and increase your well-being.

Individual

Individual therapy aims to help you navigate the challenges that life throws your way. At Clarity Behavioral Health (CBH), we provide individual therapy services for children (age 6 and older), adolescents, and adults. Our staff have extensive experience treating a wide variety of clients with diverse background and presenting issues. Clinicians at CBH are trained in a several evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and trauma-focused CBT.

Some common reasons that individuals seek therapy include depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), oppositional or defiant behaviors, impulsivity or other behaviors related to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anger or aggression, academic or occupational concerns, and family or relationship concerns. At CBH, we treat these, as well as a myriad of other concerns. Our psychotherapy process begins with a diagnostic interview, followed by the development of an individual treatment plan. We tailor treatment goals to best fit the individual needs of each client.

Family

When one member of a family is struggling, often the whole family feels the effects. At CBH, we provide family therapy to help navigate issues in the family dynamic. Often, when families face difficulties, communication becomes challenging. Family therapy aims to help family members hear each other, work together, and get back on the same page. We strive to break peace back to the family unit.

Couples

Maintaining relationships in the face of challenges can be hard work. CBH provides couples and marital therapy to help partners express their feelings, identify their needs, and work together to address the difficulties in their relationship. Couples therapy aims to get both partners back on the same page. We collaborate as a unit to identify goals for therapy and make progress towards those goals.
